Trading launched tokens

Swapping on the Trade page and on token pages, reading the chart and setting slippage.

InvestorsUpdated Sep 21, 2026

Once a token has launched, it trades on Uniswap on Base. You do not need to leave Token Forge to trade it.

Where to trade

  • The Trade page: pick any launched token, PBTC or COAL and you get its chart, a swap widget and the key numbers (market cap, 24h change and volume, supply, burned, holders, launch date).
  • The token page of a launched token has the same swap widget next to the chart.

Swapping

Choose what you pay with and what you want to receive. The token list covers PBTC, COAL, every launched token and most other tokens on Base; you can also paste a token address. The widget finds the best route, which normally goes through PBTC, and shows the rate, the minimum you will receive and the network fee. Approve the token if it is your first time swapping it, then confirm.

Slippage

Slippage is the difference between the price you were quoted and the price you actually get, because other trades can land before yours. The widget protects you with a maximum, 0.5% by default; if the price moves more than that, the swap fails instead of filling badly. You can change the limit in the widget. Small, new tokens can need a higher setting to go through.

The chart

Charts are built from the token's actual on-chain trades. Bonding curve presales have a chart too, showing the curve's price history, so the chart continues from presale into market trading.
