Coal Boost
Burn COAL to give a token Heat and get it in front of more people. Heat fades every hour, so it rewards ongoing support rather than a one-off spend.
Coal Boost is how a community pushes a token in front of everyone else on Token Forge: by burning COAL. There is no ad budget to buy. A burn adds Heat, Heat wins the featured spots, and Heat fades over time, so what you see featured is what people are backing right now.
Campaigns
A verified token, in presale or already trading, needs an active campaign before it can collect Heat. Only the token's creator can start one, by burning COAL worth:

The creator can extend a running campaign and attach a short message.
Adding Heat
Once a campaign is active, anyone can burn COAL for it. The minimum is $1 worth. The Heat added is proportional to the USD value of the burn at the time.
Heat fades by 2% every hour. One big burn is gone within days; steady burns from many wallets keep a token near the top. Coal Boost measures who is behind a token right now, not who paid once.
Where Heat shows up
Boosted tokens take the featured spots across the app: the spotlight on Explore, the "you might also like" cards on token pages, the featured result in search, and the Coal Boost leaderboards for campaigns and top boosters. Spots are filled by a weighted draw. The more Heat a token has, the more often it is picked, with a small random share so new campaigns get seen too.
Note
Burned COAL is gone for good. Every burn is an on-chain transaction and is listed on the campaign page, so anyone can see exactly how much support a token has received.
For creators
Once your token is verified, start a campaign from the Coal Boost page; you do not have to wait for the presale to finish. Give your community a message to rally behind and let holders add Heat. The leaderboard credits the wallets that burn the most.
For supporters
Burn COAL on the campaign page of a token you back. The Coal Boost page lists active campaigns with their Heat and time remaining.
