Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 9, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how PepeBitcoin LLC (“PBTC,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you access our websites and interfaces, including the Token Forge, presale and staking pages, payment integrations, and merch store (the “Services”).
1) Scope and Roles
PBTC acts as a “controller” for personal data processed via our frontends. Certain flows (e.g., wallet providers, DEX/routers, print-on-demand vendors, payment processors) are operated by independent third parties under their own terms and privacy policies.
2) Information We Collect
- Information you provide: contact details (e.g., email, Telegram handle) when you request support or submit forms; order and shipping details if you purchase merch.
- Wallet and on-chain data: public wallet addresses you connect; transaction hashes; balances or allowances you choose to read; on-chain events relevant to our UI. Blockchain data is public and not created by PBTC.
- Device and usage data: IP address, device/browser information, timestamps, pages viewed, referral URLs, and basic event telemetry (e.g., connect/disconnect, button clicks) to improve UX and security.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used for essential functionality (session, security) and, if enabled, analytics. You can control cookies via your browser settings.
3) How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services and the security of our frontends.
- Display on-chain data and support transactions that you initiate.
- Operate the merch store and fulfill orders via third-party vendors.
- Prevent abuse, fraud, scams, or security incidents; comply with legal obligations.
- Communicate with you (support, important notices, policy updates).
4) Legal Bases (EEA/UK users)
- Contract– to provide requested features you initiate.
- Legitimate interests– to secure and improve our Services and prevent abuse.
- Consent– where required (e.g., certain cookies/analytics).
- Legal obligation– to comply with applicable law and enforce policies.
5) Sharing of Information
- Service providers: hosting, security, analytics, customer support, fulfillment, and payments (e.g., wallet connectors like Reown AppKit/WalletConnect, routing/DEX providers, print-on-demand vendors, and payment processors).
- Public blockchains: transactions are public and permanently recorded; PBTC cannot delete or alter blockchain data.
- Legal and safety: to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
6) Data Retention
We retain information as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Public blockchain data persists indefinitely and is not controlled by PBTC.
7) Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your wallet keys and devices.
8) International Transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs) for cross-border transfers of EEA/UK personal data.
9) Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data; object to processing; request portability; or withdraw consent. To exercise rights, contact legal@pepe-bitcoin.com. You may have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
10) Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under the age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us to delete it.
11) Do Not Track
Our Services do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
12) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the Services indicates acceptance of the revised Policy.
